At Swarm Training, we are passionate about apprenticeships, so we are supporting schools to help their young people navigate the often complex and daunting world of further education and careers and so have developed our new “Pathways to Potential” Programme. The world of apprenticeships has changed so much over recent years and the old stereotypes of teaboys in garages and hairwashers and floor sweepers at the hairdressers are long gone. Whether your students want to be accountants or administrators, engineers or events planners, market researchers or mechanics - there is an apprenticeship out there for them. The sheer number of courses available is both exciting and daunting.

Programme looks like for you

• School Resources Pack sent to you on joining

  - includes video case studies by apprentices about their apprenticeships
  - written case studies about apprentices in the workplace
  - information about us - who we are, what we do, apprenticeships we teach
  - a window into our engineering centre to inspire budding engineers
  - a calendar of upcoming free webinars
  

• Termly “What Is an Apprenticeship?” - Assemblies & Workshops
  (currently only in-person for schools local to Norwich)

• Short, age-appropriate sessions led by our team or apprentice ambassadors
  (currently only in-person for schools local to Norwich)

• Annual webinar training for school staff: “Understanding the Apprenticeship Landscape”

• Webinars on specific career paths/subjects which students may not know about
  (the list of webinars will be available in your pack)

• Live webinars in National Apprenticeship Week (annually in February)

• For engineering subjects, a guided tour of our Apprenticeship Engineering Training Centre (by arrangement)

• Information updates for Careers Staff as they happen

• Termly newsletter

• Information on current Apprenticeship Vacancies we have for school leavers just as they leave Year 11
