Junior Estate Agent Apprenticeship

The Junior Estate Agent apprenticeship is an introduction to working in residential, commercial or auction property sales. Apprentices deal with customers, arrange viewings and help prepare properties for market while working under supervision. Alongside the day-to-day administration, they learn about property, sales and relevant legislation, and how to represent the agency professionally.

Funding & Employer Commitment:

As an employer, you should allow the apprentice 20% off-the-job training time. This is dedicated, protected development time. During this training, your apprentice will learn crucial skills, knowledge and behaviours, allowing them to be effective in your business. You can read more about off-the-job training here.

Employers must ensure during a Junior Estate Agent Apprenticeship their employee receives the necessary support and mentoring to complete their portfolio to the required standard.

Levy-paying employers use their levy funds to cover training costs. Non-levy payers can also access government funding, including incentives announced for 2026 such as: full funding for eligible under-25s, and up to £2,000 for hiring apprentices aged 16-24.
